You all know big mo-fo winter storms will be slamming USA and Europe.  Perfect time for an invasion, except that's probably planned for next winter.  I am still struggling w/ consequences of last walk, on the 20th!  But, I am proud to say...

Caught up, on recent comments at least, somewhat, sort of.  Sometimes, most of the time, trying to take in more info than my brain energy envelope can handle results in brain caterpillar and subsequent new-kind-of migraine.  Thus I am better at generating my own thought, just as a stroke or Alzheimer's victim is better at dancing than walking, ( Read more... )

I normally "get up" at 4:am*.  The other day, the dog woke me up at 2:30am, and I proceeded to put away the dog food.  That contributed to all of yesterday being in pain and insane of brain, disabled and doing nothing.  Last night, do woke me up with his shaking several times, from midnights until like 4:am, while I was still ill (though sleeping ( Read more... )

Main thing I did today was get some recyclables together and put them out by the garage in a tall thin bin.  Couched the odd bin in a nook away from winds from west and south.  But it has probably blown away by now.  Winds are at 60mph.  Big things are slamming into the house.  Although there are no very nearby trees to my southwest, there are many ( Read more... )
